Youth
The Neenah Lacrosse Youth program is designed for youth boys and girls who are not yet high school-age. It provides a fun and supportive environment where athletes can learn the game of lacrosse, develop fundamental skills, build confidence and grow as part of a team while connecting with other players throughout the community.
Our youth program proudly competes across the Bay Valley Lacrosse locations. This league has set a high standard for youth lacrosse across the state, and we follow all league guidelines to ensure a safe, competitive, and fun experience for all players and teams alike.
Ages
Ages 8-14.
Typically 2nd grade thru 8th grade

When
This program runs from early spring (March/ April) through the end of the school year.
Practices
Practices are generally held in the early evening, pending field conditions and available daylight. Early season practices have the potential to be held indoor at a NJSD gym. Once we get outdoors, practices are held in the evenings at Neenah's Middle school fields. 8U-12U age groups typically practice 2 times per week, U14 team(s) typically practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
Games are typically played on weekends, with Sundays being the most common day. Most games are played with in our BVLA conference, although tournaments may occasionally be held outside of these parameters.
Boys Jerseys/Equipment
Jerseys and shorts must be purchased at time of registration if needed.
Players are responsible for the following equipment
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Stick
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Protective cup
- Mouthguard
- Cleats

Girls Jerseys/ Equipment
Jerseys will need to be purchased at the time of registration if needed.
Players are responsible for the following equipment:
- Black shorts
- Goggles
- Girls stick (different than boys)
- Mouthguard
- Cleats
